1.5 Kg Strong White Bread Flour
20g (4 teaspoons) Salt
2 sachets of Dried Yeast
900 ml Warm Water
1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl (a jam pan is a good size, but you may own a big enough bowl).
Rub in butter
Mix in dried yeast.
2. Make a well in centre and add warm water.
Mix and knead for 5-10 mins in bowl or on a floured surface ( need extra flour for this)
3. Shape into rolls, loaves etc and place on baking trays.
Put them in the kitchen to ‘rise’ the bread, then bake.
220°C (Gas 6 or 7) for 15 to 25 mins depending on size and shape.
